Ossifying Fibroma is a benign fibro-osseous tumor, but osteolytic and invasive, as well being rare lesion. It manifests itself more frequently in the mandible than upper jaw, located preferably molar (52%) or premolar (25%) region. most commonly diagnosed women (5:1) between 3rd 4th decades of life. related to other pathologies such bone dysplasia, florid cement-osseous among others. This lesion was called tumor by World Health Organization (WHO) 1992 its classification Odontogenic tumors, because possible etiopathogenesis due periodontal ligament cells. In 2003, WHO it single entity, classified like tumor. The following case that presented about pediatric patient with diagnosis mandibular area large size, which treated surgically an en bloc resection affected great extension compromised tissue. literature review.
